Alem created this spa to share the traditional healing rituals she grew up with in Ethiopia—practices rooted in warmth, purity, feminine renewal, and deep cultural care. Her journey began long before AlemSpa existed, shaped by family traditions and refined through decades of professional experience.
Alem is a licensed beauty aesthetician who studied beauty and cosmetology in London and has been practicing since 1999. She has worked in spa environments across the UK, Africa, Ethiopia, and the United States, gaining extensive experience in both hands-on treatments and spa management.
With a gentle presence and a deep respect for natural wellness, Alem brings authenticity to every service she offers, from the Ethiopian Yoni Smoke (Weyba Tis) ceremony to the traditional Moroccan Bath experience. Every woman who enters her care is welcomed with intention, tenderness, and the goal of restoring balance to both body and spirit.
